UPDATE: Brush Fire Grows to 20 Acres

A fire that began between Collins Drive and Madera Road along the 118 Freeway at about noon has spread to about 20 acres, according the the Ventura County Fire Department update at 12:58. At that time, no structures were being threatened.

The fire near is burning to the east and behind the college and burning away from it.
