Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: April 17

1. Our condolences on Tax Day. Do you need a little more time to pay them? Check out for some help.
2. The library hosts the Little Bilingual Readers program at 11 a.m. and a teen craft at 4 p.m. today.
3. Registration is open for Moorpark AYSO's fall 2012 season. The organization has two walk-in registrations planned: from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 at the Arroyo Vista Community Center and 5 to 9 p.m. May 16 at Dick's Sporting Goods. Registration is open to children 4 1/2 to 18 years and is $110 for the first player, $100 for a second child and $90 for the third (or more) players before June 1. 4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 76 degrees and a low near 54 degrees.
5. Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $4.23, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Union 76 stations at 13800 Princeton Ave. and 550 W. Los Angeles Ave., the Shell station at 301 W. Los Angeles Ave. and the Alliance station at 50 W. Los Angeles Ave.
