- The library hosts PJ Storytime at 6:30 p.m. Come in your jammies and enjoy a book!
- If films are more your speed, it's Family Movie Thursday at the Simi Valley Town Center. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a craft or activity and is followed by the movie, Annie, at 7 p.m. Admission is $2 and includes one complimentary adult admission with each paid child admission.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday are black cat appreciation days at the Camarillo Animal Shelter. The shelter has a number of black cats for adoption and if you adopt one during the event, you can adopt it for $60, which includes spay or neutering, shots, a microchip and a special catnip treat.The shelter is at 600 Aviation Drive, Camarillo.
