  1. Registration opens for next month's First 5/Neighborhood for Learning classes today. Classes are free and open to all children under 5 years regardless of family income.

Next week, on Sept. 4, there will be a low cost rabies vaccination clinic from 7 to 8 p.m. at Fire Station 42 at 295 High St. hosted by the Ventura County Department of Animal Services and Santa Paula Animal Clinic.
