1. "Handwriting Analysis with Sheila Lowe" is today, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the . The free event is open to teens from 6th to 12th grade.
2. The Ventura County Fire Department has intermittent  till July 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in an area of brush in Happy Camp Canyon adjacent to Rustic Canyons Golf Course. 
3. Take the  today and save on parking and gas. Fares are $5 round-trip for adults and students, $2 for seniors (age 62+) and children under 5 are free.
