Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: July 19

The Moorpark City Library has a couple of cool things happening today: a teen movie matinee and pajama story time.

1. Calling all teens! Come to the for a quick trip to the 80s with "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." The movie matinee starts at 2 p.m.
2. Also at the is "Pajama Storytime," starting at 6:30 p.m. This event is perfect for children in pre-school to 5th grade. 
3. Calling all would-be Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies. Come to a  on Friday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at  and learn more about becoming a Girl Scout. 
4. The Ventura County Astronomical Society (VCAS) will lend its expertise and hold a  open to the public. The event will take place on Friday, July 20, at 8 p.m. (weather permitting) at the Charles Temple Observatory of .
5. It will be partly sunny with a high near 79 and a low around 57, according to the National Weather Service.
