1. Let us know the best businesses in Moorpark by voting for them in the Readers’ Choice 2012 polls starting today. Cast your vote by August 17 and let us know who's best. 
2. Get off the couch and meet your friends for some gaming! Teens and tweens are welcome to come and enjoy exciting Wii and board games and a little friendly competition at the  from 2 to 6 p.m. 
3. The Ventura County Fire Department has intermittent  till July 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in an area of brush in Happy Camp Canyon adjacent to Rustic Canyons Golf Course.
4. Start planning for . A 10-mile stretch of the 405 will be closed on Sept. 29-30.
