Nominate your favorite businesses, get ready to join the adult book club and create edible art.

1. This Wednesday, teens get the chance to create a one of a kind art piece that's completely edible. The at 2 p.m. is the place to be, for Edible Art.
2. Coming up soon, the adult book club at the will be meeting on Sunday, July 1, at 2 p.m. to discuss Founding Mothers by Cokie Roberts, a book about the valiant women who fought the Revolution.
3. Now is the time to nominate your favorite Moorpark businesses! Choose from 25 categories, from salon to sushi, from pizza to pharmacy. Nominations will be accepted through July 9 then voting begins.
4. The National Weather Service is predicting sunny weather with a high near 74 degrees and a low around 53 degrees.
5. Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $3.81, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the 76 station at 13800 Princeton Ave.
