Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: June 8

Head to the farmers market, try an acting class or watch "The Music Man" on this fantastic Friday.

  1. Head to the today from 3 to 7 p.m. for the freshest produce, flowers, gourmet items and other interesting finds.
  2. Have fun reading lines and slipping into character!  All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary in this acting class for seniors. Classes are taught by Nino Rizzi and meet on Fridays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Moorpark Active Adult Center.
  3. "The Music Man" is on tonight at 8, at the . Performances are: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., until July 1st.
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies with a high near 79 degrees and a low around 52 degrees.
