Jazz Bands in Westlake Village: The City of Westlake Village presents its 9th season of free Friday and Saturday evening summer TGIF events! All events start at 7 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Limited seating available at the Civic Center Courtyard location. Food available for sale at 6 p.m. from a local restaurant.
There will be two event locations: Westlake Village Civic Center Courtyard at 31200 Oak Crest Drive and Berniece Bennett Park at 31800 Village Center Road. The lineup for June 1st includes the Lindero Canyon Middle School and Agoura High School Jazz Bands at the Westlake Village Civic Center.

National Trails Day in Newbury Park: The National Park Service is inviting the community to help repair popular hiking trails at Rancho Siera Vista fom 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Roll up your sleeves, get in on the fun as we build, repair and give back to our local trails. Volunteers should dress appropriately with work gloves, protective footwear, long sleeves, pants, and sun protection. Tools will be provided. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Fairy Tales in the Park in Simi Valley: Head to the Rancho Simi Bicentennial Amphitheatre at the corner of Erringer Rd. and Royal Ave. for a series of free, live theatrical performances geared towards children 3 to 10.
Bring water, juice, snacks, blankets and low-slung chairs. Please leave doggies at home. The shows are designed to run approximately 45 minutes, starting at 4 p.m. Cinderella: Bippity, Boppity, Oops! wll be the featured fairy tale on June 2.

Art Walk in Thousand Oaks: The Bank of America Building on Hillcrest and Wilbur is this year's venue for the two-day, juried, fine arts and designer cafts outdoor exhibition. Over 150 artists will have their work on display and for sale.

Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra in Thousand Oaks: All three levels of the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestras will be performing live at the Kavli Theatre of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza at 3 p.m.
This concert will feature music from movies, musicals, and television including John Williams’ “March” (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”), “The Adventures of ET the Extraterrestrial," Leonard Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances” (“West Side Story”), music from the musical “Chicago," “Pirates of the Caribbean” and more.
