Weekend Fun: March 16-18
Here are some fun things to do in and out of town this weekend.

FRIDAY
Comedy Improv: A new improvisational comedy group in Ventura County, Clean Up Comedy focuses on clean comedy that is both adult and family friendly. The show is based around audience suggestions, so come ready to participate. Show time is 7:30 p.m. at Newbury Park First Christian Church, 801 Knollwood Drive, Newbury Park. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Mark Cross Band Concert: Local groups The Mark Cross Band and Jeremy & Ryan will perform a concert at 6:30 p.m. at the 45 E. High St. Tickets are $10.
St. Patrick's Day Celebration: is once again hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration with Irish music, dancers, a raffle and, of course, a corned beef dinner. The event takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. at the church, 13955 Peach Hill Road. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for teens and seniors and $6 for children 12 and younger in advance or two dollars more at the door.

St. Patrick's Day Parade: This weekend marks the 24th annual County Ventura St. Patrick's Day Parade, which begins at 10 a.m. along Main Street in downtown Ventura. The parade begins on Main Street in front of the mission (near the intersection of Palm Street) and ends at the corner of Main and Ann Street. The reviewing stage is located at Chestnut Street.
SUNDAY
Confessions of an Eco Terrorist Screening: Join environmental activist, filmmaker and Whale Wars star Peter Jay Brown for a discussion and free screening of the documentary Confessions of an Eco Terrorist from 1 to 3 p.m. at the main Thousand Oaks (Grant R. Brimhall) Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
