Avenue Q: The Actors' Repertory Theatre of Simi presents Avenue Q, where puppets perform alongside humans in this coming-of-age story that addresses life after college. Shows are at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley. Tickets are $22 for adults and $18 for seniors and students.
Chicago: Experience a little of the old razzle-dazzle at the Moorpark College performing arts center when the theater department presents the musical Chicago Thursdays through Sundays through April 15. Tickets are $12-$16.

Rhythm of the Dance: Taking place at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Rhythm of the Dance is two hours of traditional and modern Irish dance and music. Tickets are $30-$45.
Spring Spectacular: The Moorpark College Teaching Zoo's annual Spring Spectacular continues this weekend. Students will present themed animal shows and there will be special fun for kids, including face painting, games and more. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and April 7 and 8. Tickets are $5 for children and seniors and $10 for all others.

Flea Market: More than 500 vendors of antiques, used and new merchandise will sell their wares at the Ventura Flea Market, taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (and early bird hours from 6 to 9 a.m. for an extra fee) at the Ventura County Fair Grounds, 10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura. Regular tickets are $5, with children 11 and younger admitted free. Early bird tickets are $10.
