Delivery Truck Driver In Mountain View Makes The Wrong Stop
A delivery truck driver was injured Wednesday morning in Mountain View when his truck hit a building because he mistakingly accelerated.
MOUNTAIN VIEW - A delivery truck driver was injured Wednesday morning in Mountain View when his truck hit a building because he accelerated rather than braking exiting northbound U.S. Highway 101, police said.
Officers responded at 6:34 a.m. to the 600 block of Ellis Street where police found the truck stopped against a wall of a building.
The crash damaged the wall, some landscaping and broke a window, according to police.

Officers said neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have played a part in the crash.
The truck driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
