Continuing its TENTH ANNIVERSARY season, the award-winning Pear Avenue Theatre presents a revival of the show that started it all-- ten years ago, Artistic Director Diane Tasca signed the lease on a humble warehouse unit and began the process of transforming it into a viable theatre. Three months later, the Pear Avenue Theatre was officially launched with its production of MRS. WARREN'S PROFESSION by George Bernard Shaw. While some thought it an unlikely choice for a first offering, Shaw's skewering of society's hypocrisy perfectly exemplified one aspect of The Pear's mission: that of re-mounting classics that still speak to today's audiences.
TICKETS $15-$30 Open seating please arrive 15 minutes before the performance. Sunday matinee 2pm. See www.thepear.org for details.
