Roots Rock with the Dan Goghs

Morocco's welcomes the versatile Dan Goghs for a delightful evening of American Roots Rock, rhythm & blues!

The Dan Goghs are a diverse and ever-changing line up of professional musicians from all over the Bay Area. Drawn together by a common body of music, this group is at their peak when performing live.

The Dan Goghs draw their inspiration from American Roots Music. Starting with a tune from Bonnie Raitt, John Hiatt, Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, and countless others, the songs take shape on the fly.

Far from being a jam band, the band plays cohesively and with a purpose. Songs have the ability to weave in and out of each other, essentially creating a new tune right on stage. Since a song is always going in a new direction at each show, members have to be alert and on our toes. "That makes us better musicians," says Jack Van Breen, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist for the band. "If you are looking for a live jukebox for your party or event, you are best served elsewhere. If you want the genuine experience of seeing the real deal created before your eyes, this is the band for you."
