Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco - distinguished as one of the best dance performances in 2010 by the San Francisco Bay Guardian- celebrates four decades of artistic evolution in the world premiere event "45 Años de Arte Flamenco."
"45 Años de Arte Flamenco” is a remarkable show that unites the roots of flamenco with contemporary interpretations inspired by Theatre Flamenco’s rich legacy.
Professional flamenco dancers - Carola Zertuche, Manuel Guttierez, Juan Siddi, and Cristina Hall - are joined by Gypsy singers, Jose Cortes and Kina Mendez; percussionist Sudhi Rajagopal, pianist Alex Conde; violinist Treggar Otton; cellist Jesse Wolff; and master guitartist José Luis Rodriquez, one of a select group of artists who best know how to marry flamenco tradition and innovation.
