Western Ballet presents "Making of a Dancer"

Performances by Western Ballet Company and choreography by well-known Latin American former principal of Miami Ballet, Yanis Pikieris, and a premiere pas de deux by Alexi Zubiria, former soloist at San Francisco Ballet and current director of Western Ballet.

Artistic Director Alexi Zubiria will share his journey from Bogotá to the Bay Area, and why he considers life "full of good accidents" that carried him from ballet to biology and back again.
