My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere. A man killed in a crash on U.S. Highway 101 in Mountain View over the weekend was identified as 67-year-old Phiet Truong of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.Officers responded to a report of a crash on southbound Highway 101 north of state Highway 85 around 10 p.m. Saturday, California Highway Patrol officials said.Arriving officers found one person, later identified as Truong, suffering from major injuries, according to the CHP.He was transported to Stanford Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, CHP officials said.Two southbound lanes were closed for about 90 minutes after the crash, according to the CHP.No other details on the crash were immediately available Monday morning.--Bay City News Service, photo via Shutterstock
