Are you interested in Fall enrollment for your Nursery School- or Kindergarten-aged child?
You are invited to come and experience Waldorf Early Childhood Education at our summer Open House on Tuesday August 19th from 4 to 5:30 pm on our Los Altos campus at 11311 Mora Drive. Come at 4 o’clock for a short talk about Waldorf Education and the young child. Later arrivals are still welcome to visit.
There will be an opportunity to visit with our teachers, tour our new play garden, and experience the beauty of our Nursery School and Kindergarten classrooms.
Waldorf early childhood programs create a nurturing atmosphere of wonder, beauty, respect and security for children to begin their life-long process of engagement with the world. In the WSP kindergarten program, children learn through play, purposeful work, storytelling and puppet shows, as well as practical and artistic activities. These activities include inside and outside creative play, circle time, snack, tidy-up time, and story time. Through joyful engagement in our pre-academic curriculum, children develop lifelong capacities for creative thinking, healthy senses, self-confidence, awareness of others, and readiness and enthusiasm for academic learning.
