Shows Go On at Shoreline: Concert Tonight and Another Sunday

On the heels of a fatal shooting following a Wiz Khalifa show Friday, there are two more weekend events scheduled at Shoreline Amphitheatre. Tonight -- Saturday, Aug. 23 - it is Rascal Flatts and Sheryl Crow, and on Sunday, Aug. 24 -- Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden.

Announcement from the Mountain View Police:

Here are some reminders about dealing with traffic and/or the event(s):

>> Expect traffic for the Shoreline concert to start at around 4 PM.
>> Area outlined in attachment generally sees traffic before and after concert, which starts at 7 PM.
>> Be safe and avoid the area, or take alternate forms of transportation.
>> Please take care of yourself and those you are with.
>> Alcohol is NOT permitted in the parking lots surrounding Shoreline Amphitheatre.
>> Do not drink and drive.
>> If you see anything that requires our attention, please give us a call at 650-903-6395, or 9-1-1 if it’s an emergency.
