Homicide Investigation Underway East Of Temecula
Investigators from the sheriff department's Southwest Station in Temecula and the Central Homicide Unit have assumed the investigation.
SAGE, CA — An investigation into the discovery Wednesday of an unidentified male who was found dead east of Temecula, in the unincorporated area of Sage, has been handed over to the Riverside County Sheriff Department's homicide team.
The body was found around 8:58 a.m. in the 40600 block of Sage Road. The deceased sustained traumatic injuries, but the sheriff's department is not releasing details.
The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
