Major Crash In Murrieta Causes Injuries, Road Closure: Police

MURRIETA, CA — A crash resulted in injuries and a road closure Sunday in Murrieta, according to police.

A collision with major injuries closed the eastbound lanes of Clinton Keith Road at Menifee Road, police said in a social media post shortly after 11:30 a.m., adding around 5 p.m. that the road had reopened. Photos from the scene showed numerous emergency vehicles and first responders.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area. The scene is not far from a commercial stretch that includes Vista Murietta High School, Target, Costco and Interstate 215.
