Man Identified In Deadly Menifee Rollover

Coroner's officials say the man died at the scene of the crash.

MENIFEE, CA — Officials on Tuesday identified a man who died in a rollover crash in Menifee this week. The Riverside County coroner's office identified the deceased man as Ricardo Murillo Sandoval, 22, of Hemet.

The wreck was reported at 1:50 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Highway 74 and Menifee Road. Fire officials said two vehicles were involved and both of them overturned as a result of the impact.

Sandoval was trapped in the wreckage and died about 30 minutes later at the scene, according to fire and coroner's reports.

Three other people were rushed to the hospital, according to fire reports. Two of them had moderate injuries while the third had minor injuries.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
