Murrieta Site Of KTM North American Headquarters Sells For $6.8M
But KTM, an Austria-based motorcycle manufacturer, is staying put in Southwest Riverside County — albeit in a spiffy new 20-acre location.

MURRIETA, CA — A Murrieta industrial building that houses KTM's North American headquarters has sold for $6.8 million, Coldwell Banker Commercial SC announced Thursday.
But KTM, an Austria-based manufacturer of street and offroad sport motorcycles, is staying put in the area — albeit in a new, bigger location.
The sale of the 36,120 square-foot multi-tenant building at 38415 Innovation Court in the Silverhawk Business Park is part of a 1031 exchange in an off-market transaction, according to broker Carey Pastor of Coldwell Banker Commercial SC.

Pastor represented both the buyer, Cobblestone Properties, LLC, and the seller, Flying Elk Enterprises, LLC, in the deal.
It's not clear who might move into the Innovation Court building once KTM relocates. The motorcycle company is in the process of building a new 20-acre campus near Winchester and Borel roads. The new North American headquarters is expected to feature more than 150,000 square feet of space for technical, office, warehouse and racing departments. A groundbreaking for the new facility was held in late 2021.

KTM also has a private motorsports facility near the new site that is used for testing and athlete training. The company markets three motorcycle brands — KTM, Husqvarna and Gas Gas.
The company is expected to remain at the Innovation Court location until the new campus is ready for move-in, and there are other tenants in the existing building, which Pastor said made it an attractive property.
“Industrial vacancy in this market is at an all-time low and fully-leased multi-tenant industrial assets such as this [Innovation Court location] remain in high demand,” Pastor said.
