While searching the car, police found a vial of blue pills and mail that did not belong to either the man or woman. The duo blamed a third suspect, who had run away and was hiding in the restroom of a nearby business, according to police. Officers found the man, later identified as Daniels, who was wanted for multiple felonies. Court records show he has a criminal history in Riverside County dating back to 2015.

Both men were arrested. The woman, who remains unidentified, was released.
Over 1,000 residents shared their support over social media, and 150 residents responded to the post.
