Police Chase Ends In Murrieta With Crash At Jefferson And Date

MURRIETA, CA — An apparent suspect chase by the Menifee Police Department ended Friday morning in Murrieta with a crash at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Date Street.
The suspect was in a white Chevrolet SUV when he collided with a motorist in a black BMW sedan at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the intersection on the south end of Murrieta.
The suspect was receiving medical treatment at the scene in the back of a Menifee police car, but the male BMW driver, who was cooperating with the investigation, declined care at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

It's unclear what the suspect was being sought for and his identity has not been released.
In addition to Menifee officers, Murrieta police and deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.
