Second DUI Checkpoint Announced For Southwest Riverside County
The CHP and sheriff's department are conducting separate DUI checkpoints in Southwest Riverside County this weekend.

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — It will be a weekend of DUI checkpoints in Southwest Riverside County.
After the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced it will conduct a checkpoint in the region beginning Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol Temecula office said it will also operate one Friday starting at 7 p.m. at an undisclosed location in Southwest Riverside County.
At both checkpoints, officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment and checking drivers for proper licensing.

The CHP said motorists will be detained only a few moments while an officer explains the purpose of the checkpoint and checks driver licenses.
