2 Arrested In High-Speed Chase From Napa County To San Francisco: PD
American Canyon police, California Highway Patrol and Marin County sheriff's deputies pursued the suspects who drove a Dodge Charger.
NORTH BAY, CA — Two people were taken into custody following a 43-mile, high-speed chase from Napa County to San Francisco.
It started around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in American Canyon when an American Canyon police officer tried to stop a 2006 red Dodge Charger for vehicle-code violations on southbound state Highway 29, south of Kimberly Drive.
The driver of the Charger failed to stop and continued into Solano County at a high rate of speed onto westbound highway 37, American Canyon police said.

ACPD notified the California Highway Patrol and requested help from CHP air operations and ground units as the Charger continued into Marin County and onto southbound state Highway 101.
When CHP patrol cars tried to disable the Charger with a spike strip and were not successful, Marin County deputies joined the pursuit.

Dispatchers notified pursuing officers that the driver of the Charger, identified as Jessica Molina, had an outstanding felony arrest warrant out of Solano County.
ACPD and CHP air units monitored Molina's location as she continued southbound on Highway 101 across the Golden Gate Bridge and into the city of San Francisco on state Highway 1, then bailed out of her car on foot into the Presidio District on 14th Avenue, police said.
At this time, CHP apprehended Molina.
A man was then seen getting into the driver seat from the front passenger seat of the Charger. He drove off and the pursuit continued a block farther near Lake Street, police said.
ACPD stayed with the Charger and when the male suspect parked the car and ran off, officers apprehended him after a short foot pursuit, police said.
The male suspect, identified as Rex Harris III, was found with a stun gun which he was not allowed to possess because he is a convicted felon, police said.
Harris, 36, of Fairfield, was booked into Napa County jail on suspicion of evading peace officers, conspiracy, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and convicted felon in possession of a stun gun, also misdemeanor. He also remained in custody Tuesday with his bail set at $50,000.
