Caltrans To Repair Fire-Damaged Highway 29 In Napa County
One-way traffic control will be in place during the roadwork, which is expected to take 10 days.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Caltrans is slated to begin repairs soon on a stretch of state Highway 29 from Tubbs Lane to the Napa/Lake County line that was damaged in last year's Glass Fire.
The roadwork north of Calistoga is scheduled to start Sept. 20 and continue through Oct. 31. The work will begin on the southbound lanes of SR-29 for five consecutive construction days, then switch to the northbound lanes of SR-29 for another five consecutive construction days.
"Crews will grind down the road and repave more than 6 miles of asphalt," Caltrans Bay Area Spokesperson Pedro Quintana said. "The crews will continue to complete the road repair that includes permanent striping and replacing damaged drainage ditches."
