Cold Fire Day 9: Containment at 97%; Consumed Acreage Holds Steady
Firefighters continue to patrol the area in Yolo County near the Napa county line.

NAPA COUNTY, CA – The Cold Fire burning in Yolo County east of Napa County's Lake Berryessa is 97 percent contained as of this afternoon, according to Cal Fire.
The fire off state Highway 128 west of Winters began Aug. 2, has burned 5,731 acres and destroyed two structures. No structures are currently threatened, however.
There were 572 personnel battling the blaze as of today, according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
