Cold Fire Is O-V-E-R With 100% Containment!
The Yolo County blaze near the Napa County line burned 5,700 acres and two cabins since Aug. 2. No injuries. [Breaking]

NAPA and YOLO COUNTIES, CA –Firefighters today completely contained a wildfire in Yolo County east of Lake Berryessa that affected a part of Napa County earlier this month, Cal Fire officials said.
The Cold Fire off state Highway 128 east of Monticello Dam is 100 percent contained, but it did destroy two hunting cabins worth a total of about $100,000.
It also burned 5,731 acres of wildland. No homes were damaged and no one was injured.

Cal Fire officials said the fire was first reported at 4:32 p.m. Aug. 2.
Thirty homes were saved from damage or destruction. Those homes were worth an estimated total of $1.2 million, Cal Fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
