Eat Sushi, Help Remember Quinn
Sushi Mambo and members of the Napa Guerilla Gay Bar are teaming up today for a special "Dine & Donate" drive to fund a headstone for the 14-year-old Napa boy who committed suicide last year.

The is on a compassionate mission today: Led by Napan Rick Turko, the roving band of community activists has enlisted a downtown dining institution and a local nonprofit in the effort to buy a headstone for the grave of a young suicide victim.

On November 6, 2011, young Quinn Burgess, a 14-year-old student at , took his own life. He was athletic, sensitive and loved music ... The suicide came as a shock to all those who knew and loved Quinn.
, in association with , is holding a "Dine & Donate" event all day on Friday, January 27. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of the receipts from that day to purchase a gravestone for Quinn. ...

If more funds are raised than are needed to buy a headstone, Turko said, the surplus will be donated to the Silverado Middle School music program.

In a comment on Sushi Mambo's Facebook page, Turko added that customers who make a reservation on OpenTable and mention the "Dine and Donate" event receive a complimentary glass of wine or sparkling wine today.
Sushi Mambo is open from 11:45 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. today at 1202 First St. in downtown Napa.
