Main Street Reunion car show features 400 pre-1976 cars, all on display in downtown Napa. This year’s event will also feature motorcycles The event is hosted by the Napa Downtown Association and the Napa Valley Cruisers car club. Parking and admission are free. Advance registration to show a car is $35, $40 after August 6th.
Main Street Reunion ran for five years, then the organizers decided to take a year off. Unfortunately, one year turned into six. The Cruisers started hearing from past attendees who had enjoyed the show and wanted to know when it was going to be held again. “It got so that when we’d go to other car shows, people were all over us about Main Street Reunion. The club members talked about it and decided if we were going to do it again, we were going to do it right,” said Garcia. The organizers extended their outreach, and in its first year back, the show doubled in size. Thousands of people come out to see the cars, and it is now the largest one-day event in Napa. “Trust me – it isn’t going away again.”
Downtown Napa is the perfect place for a car show. “People like being downtown because they can eat in good restaurants, shop and even go wine tasting if they want to,” said Garcia.
