Join us for a breath taking hike to the 4,342-foot summit of Mount St. Helena – the Bay Area’s second highest Peak. Beginning at the Stevenson Memorial Trail on Highway 29, the 11 mile journey gives hikers stunning views of Santa Rosa, Sonoma and the Napa Valley. The trailside vegetation is home to many Native California trees such as Bay, Live Oak, Canyon Pine and Manzanita. Fragrant trail chaparral shrubs include Black Sage, Toyon and Golden Yarrow. Climbing to peak is a strenuous 5-mile hike and participants need to bring ample water, food, sunscreen and comfortable hiking boots. We will be leaving at 7:00am sharp from the Stevenson Memorial Trail located in the Robert Stevenson State Park.
