Frontline Flyovers; Historic Route 66; Pawsome Hike: CA In Photos
As California starts to reopen: Flyovers honor health care, frontline workers; Bioluminescent waves still glowing; Hike among the poppies.

CALIFORNIA — Here is this week's "California In Photos." With coronavirus stay-at-home public health restrictions easing a bit in most of the Golden State, we've grown to appreciate our surroundings even more.
We love seeing (and sharing!) all the pics our readers send in each week — whether they're digging through their camera rolls to find oldies but goodies, are snapping new shots while out to get some exercise or supplies, or witness something amazing while putting in hours as an essential worker or volunteer on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19.
As California slowly begins to reopen, we realize we've lived through unprecedented times as we inch forward in uncharted waters — reminding us to never take anything for granted.
