50 Detained In NorCal ICE Raid Following Warning: Report
A representative of the San Francisco Immigrant, Legal and Education Network says about 50 people have been arrested in recent raids.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — The number of arrests made in an ICE immigration sweep of the Bay Area and Northern California has risen to 50, a news report indicated Tuesday. A representative of the San Francisco Immigrant, Legal and Education Network told KRON4 that "two arrests were made Monday night, bringing the total to about 50 arrests in recent raids."
The locations of the latest citizenship-related arrestswere not immediately available.
Monday, it was reported that at least one of the arrests was made in Napa.

KRON reported Armando Ponce was detained while doing yard work.
"Then they just handcuffed me and put me in the car," Ponce reportedly told his wife.

The raid for immigrants living in the U.S. illegally came after Oakland Mayor Libby Schaafposted a rare warning on Facebook on Saturday.
