Motorcyclist Injured In Head-On Collision Near Lake Berryessa Dam

A Rohnert Park man suffered major injuries in the crash involving a Harley-Davidson and a work truck, the CHP said.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist suffered major injuries Tuesday morning in a head-on collision at the Lake Berryessa Dam.

The crash was reported at 8:25 a.m. on state Highway 128 near the Napa/Solano County Line, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.

The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old Rohnert Park man, was riding his Harley Davidson eastbound on SR-128 when he unsafely passed traffic, over double-yellow lines, and collided head-on with a 2017 Ford F-550 work truck, CHP Officer Jaret Paulson said.

The Rohnert Park man suffered major injuries and was rushed by AMR ambulance to Kaiser Vacaville.

The 38-year-old Santa Rosa man driving the work truck was not injured, Paulson said.
