One Person Dead After Solo-Car Crash At Solano Ave. Business
The 55 year old was found unconscious with the vehicle running in a parking lot, Vallejo police said.
VALLEJO, CA - Police this morning are investigating a crash that killed one person in Vallejo Thursday.
At 7:46 p.m., a Vallejo police officer observed a vehicle that had crashed into some fencing and cars in the parking lot of an auto repair business on Solano Avenue near Perkins Avenue. Police said the vehicle was still running, and the driver was behind the wheel and unconscious.
The driver, a 55-year-old man from Vallejo, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the man has not yet been released. Police said it appears the driver was traveling west on Solano Avenue and may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
