Officials ID Vallejo Man Found Dead In Petaluma
The 69-year-old possibly suffered a medical emergency before he was found in vehicle that hit tree.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a Vallejo man who was found dead in a vehicle that crashed into a tree in Petaluma on Thursday night as 69-year-old Jeffrey Alan Hanson.
Petaluma police said Hanson may have suffered a medical emergency before his Toyota Camry drove off of state Highway 116.
Police and firefighters responded at 10:47 p.m. to the crash off the south side of the road a half-mile east of Pine View Way.

Hanson was extricated from the Toyota and was pronounced dead at the scene.
