Silverado Resort Fireworks Show Off Limits To Unaccompanied Minors: Napa Sheriff's Advisory

Additionally, no coolers, alcohol, glass bottles or fireworks should be brought onto the property.

NAPA VALLEY, CA -- Stricter rules will be in place at The Silverado Resort's 42nd annual July 3rd fireworks show, Napa County sheriff's officials stated in an advisory Tuesday.

As the event has organically grown to attract thousands of people from the Napa community, sheriff's officials say that over the past few years, they have seen an increase in unsupervised minors drinking alcohol and becoming intoxicated.

"Although this is a very small portion of the many people who come to enjoy the show, it has caused some significant problems," sheriff's officials said. "Both Law Enforcement and The Silverado Resort see this as a serious issue and are working together to keep this family-oriented, community tradition ongoing. Due to the fact that the majority of the problems are being caused by unsupervised minors, minors without adult supervision will not be allowed on the property for the show."
