Teenage Boy Wounded In Napa Shooting, Police Say

Officers responded to a report of a shooting and found the boy suffering from gunshot wounds.

NAPA, CA — An investigation was continuing Friday into a shooting Thursday night in Napa.

Officers responded at 7:33 p.m. Thursday to a report about a shooting that had just happened on Riverside Drive at Oak Street and found a teenage boy suffering from gunshot wounds, police Sgt. Kevin Skillings said.

Paramedics rushed the boy to a local hospital where he was treated for gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, the sergeant said.

The intersection was cordoned off Thursday night as detectives and crime scene investigators with the Napa Police Department and Napa County Sheriff's Office responded to assist with the investigation.
