Tribute to Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou: African Sanctus at Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center

“The African Sanctus is a highly original work in which very different cultures have been imaginatively and ingeniously fused” says Sir David Willcocks. The Observer calls it an “Afro-Latin, tribal-choral masterpiece.”

The Napa Valley College Chorale, directed by Dr. Eve-Anne Wilkes, will present this “masterpiece” for the first time in the Napa Valley, accompanied by the words of two humanitarian leaders of our century, Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou.
