Water Leak Fixed In Napa's Silverado Country Club Area

Service was restored Friday morning for locals, following the line's leak that started Thursday.

NAPA, CA — Water service was restored to Napa customers in the Silverado Country Club area Friday morning following a water-main leak that began Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.

"The city’s water system is back in normal operation," city officials said. "Affected customers may see some discoloration in their water and should run their faucets until the water runs clear."

Crews repaired the leak along the main transmission line on Atlas Peak Road, near Monticello Road, a line that feeds the entire Silverado Country Club.

"There is a single tank with 2 million gallons of water for the entire Country Club area," the city said in a Thursday announcement, asking customers to only use water for indoor, essential needs and to turn off outdoor irrigation until the leak was fixed.
