Arrest Made After Hit-And-Run Crash Damages Two Cars Parked in Newark
The crash occurred on Graham Avenue near Sycamore Street just after 5:15 p.m.

A Newark man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and involvement in a hit-and-run accident Saturday after he allegedly struck two parked cars, police said today.
Jonathan Leonard Nunes, 28, struck the two vehicles on Graham Avenue near Sycamore Street just after 5:15 p.m., causing moderate damage, according to police. A police officer called to the scene followed a trail of vehicle fluids and found Nunes sitting in a parked car in a garage in the 37100 block of Magnolia Street.
He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor hit-and-run, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance, police said. No injuries were reported in the incident.
