Grab And Run Thieves Hit Macy's In Newark

The suspects got away with hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise.

NEWARK, CA — Newark Police are investigating a Grab and Run theft that happened at the Macy's department store at NewPark Mall on Monday. There were no injuries reported and no suspects have been arrested, according to Officer Tony Heckman. The theft happened during the noon hour, at 12:35 p.m.

The suspects are described as three Black males of unknown ages. No surveillance photos are available. The suspects got away with men's fragrances worth more than $600.

The is not the first Grab and Run reported at NewPark Mall, and it's a problem that's common around the area.
