CHP Impounds Ducati Motorcycle Used in High Speed Pursuit
The motorcycle was going about 100 mph, but police ended the pursuit for safety reasons.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol located a motorcycle in Pacifica Sunday, which was apparently used in a high-speed highway chase the day before in Oakland.
The pursuit began at about 11 a.m. on Saturday when an officer saw a Ducati 998 motorcycle driving at about 100 mph, heading eastbound on Interstate Highway 80 near the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza, CHP officials said.
The officers tried to stop the motorcycle, but the rider refused to stop, initiating the pursuit.

The rider then went onto eastbound Interstate Highway 980 and eventually exited the highway at 27th Street. The rider continued to drive recklessly on city streets and the officer decided to terminate the pursuit, according to the CHP.
Sunday, however, officers located the motorcycle in Pacifica. After obtaining a warrant, officers then impounded the motorcycle for 30 days, CHP officials said.
