The roadway will be shutdown for several hours while the investigation is being conducted. The Newark Police Department will provide updates regarding the criminal investigation as more information becomes available. We recommend using alternative routes such as Highway 84 and Newark Blvd. For residents on the west side of Newark, please use Spruce Street and Haley Blvd as a means of navigating around the detour.
