Employers Gearing Up With Year-End Job Interviews at Free Job Fair Nov. 18

Mariners Church in Irvine will host more than 50 employers looking to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal positions

Orange County employers and organizations throughout Southern California are preparing for the end of the year by interviewing and hiring new employees for full time, part time and seasonal positions.

More than 50 organizations are expected to be on hand at the free Orange County Job, College and Veterans Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Mariners Church in Irvine to meet with potential job candidates who are hoping for a new start, searching for new careers, or simply looking for extra earnings during the holiday season.

The Orange County Job, College and Veterans Fair will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mariners Church is located at 5001 Newport Coast Drive in Irvine. Admission is free, but registration is required at www.marinerschurch.org/jobfair.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interview for a variety of positions – all in one day – and should dress in business attire and come equipped with resumes. On average, hourly pay rates range from $10-$25, but there are also an assortment of higher-level job openings.

The lineup of employers that will be participating includes Fortune 1,000 companies, government organizations, staffing agencies, nonprofit organizations and other businesses. They will be looking to fill more than 550 full-time, part-time and seasonal positions in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and more. The job fair will also feature various employment resources and higher educational opportunities.

Additional employers are expected to be added prior to the Nov. 18 job fair.
