LEEANN IACINO NAMED TO BE AWARE FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Breast cancer survivor Leeann Iacino of Coldwell Banker is thrilled to join the innovative Be Aware Foundation's board of directors
Leeann Iacino, vice president of operations and marketing for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Southwest Region, has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Be Aware Foundation Board of Directors. The Be Aware Foundation is dedicated to saving lives by educating and inspiring women to follow early detection guidelines for breast cancer.
Iacino is responsible for raising funds for the Foundation and running social media campaigns to emphasize the importance of early detection. She also works with local registered nurses and survivors, giving seminars at health fairs, businesses and women’s groups.
The Stomp, one of Be Aware Foundation’s main fundraisers, is scheduled to take place October 11. The event includes grape stomping competitions, wine and craft beer tasting, food, live music, and an auction featuring wine, jewelry, restaurant experiences, fabulous vacations and dozens of unique opportunities.

“As a survivor, this foundation is very important to me because it’s my way of giving back,” said Iacino. “I love being surrounded by others who are as passionate as I am about the power of early detection. It’s such fun putting creativity into our grass roots approach to breast cancer education. Our events are engaging, educational, and make an impact.”
Iacino is quick to point out that with early detection, the breast cancer survivor rate is greater than 95 percent.
