A 22-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle as he crossed Newport Boulevard has died from his injuries, police said today.Sudi Nsengiyumva of Riverside was struck about 9:15 p.m. Saturday as he crossed the 1800 block of Newport Boulevard, according to police.He was not in a crosswalk, police said.The driver of the vehicle that hit Nsengiyumva stopped at the scene and was not cited or arrested, police said.Nsengiyumva was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he was pronounced dead at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, police said.City News Service
